The Rules
How earning works
- Eligibility: you need a free account and must be logged in when you comment. Guest comments are welcome but do not earn points. Create your account.
- How it is evaluated: an AI reads the article and your comment, and rewards what you add that the article does not already say — your own experience, a fact or source it left out, or a reasoned disagreement. A well-written summary of the article earns little. Minimum length: 30 characters.
- When points are credited: only when a comment is approved (automatically for high scores, or after human review). Rejected comments earn nothing.
- Limits: up to 10 rewarded comments per user per day. Extra comments are still published under normal moderation but do not earn points.
- What does not count: spam, promotional links, token shilling, insults, duplicates and generic filler ("great post"). These are flagged and rejected.
